At The Wadenhoe Consultancy, we understand leadership
For over 20 years, we have been working in partnership with organisations to design, deliver and sustain individual, team, and organisational development activities that have measurable and permanent performance outcomes.
Our successful track record across all sectors has been achieved by the use of:
-
An integrated approach using The Wadenhoe Model®
-
A rigorous measurement and evaluation process
-
Effective Change Leadership
Facilitated by a team where everyone has senior General and HR Management experience.
This is what we're like to work with:
EFFECTIVENESS
We ensure that outputs are clarified from the start and managed successfully.
Our "Change" expertise and proprietary tools ensure that all activities fit with strategy.
For you this means measurable return, with no time wasted on activities that won't work.
EMPATHY
We work with all stakeholders in the assignment.
We are business people with pragmatic solutions. Practice supported by sound research.
For you this means tailored solutions, 100% "buy-in" and performance-focused actions.
ENERGY
We love working with people. Our creative, energising and tailored approaches generate understanding and enjoyment.
We are senior-level people with complementary skills providing a complete service.
For you this means that people are highly motivated and eager to make changes using cost-effective and "joined-up" solutions.
ENGAGEMENT
We are always available to provide support although our aim is to develop solutions that work without us in the future.
We provide a strong on-job development focus.
For you this means that the impact of our work is sustainable over time.

Learning Sets
Learning Sets are a powerful and much abused leadership development tool!
It is well known that 80% of effective learning takes place outside of formal training courses.
Our work on self-directed learning confirms this - yet recent research indicates that one of its key processes
- the Learning Set, is often much abused.
When the original concept is compromised and watered down, under the guise of a more "pragmatic approach", it can be a complete waste of everyone's time!
Read our latest article on this theme and how the Wadenhoe approach adds real value.

The Wadenhoe Engagement Team
Over the last three years the theme of Energy & Engagement has developed into one of our core capabilities.
In other parts of this website we provide case study examples of small and large-scale interventions.
Delivering some of these has required additional, highly skilled facilitation.
So we are now delighted to announce the establishment of the Wadenhoe Engagement Team.

Updated Research on "Natural" Learning" Now Available
In 2001 a major piece of Wadenhoe research: "Auditing Natural Learning" was completed by Dr. Roger Stuart.
Since then the world has changed, but recent research indicates that organisations are still a long way from capitalising on "Natural" Learning - at a time when it's more important than ever to capitalise on the 80% that's possible without formal training courses!

"Back From The Future"
Recent events confirm that there are no limits to the impact of this creative and exciting way of developing Team Strategy.

Finding The Best Talent... Everytime!
As clients and regular readers will know, our Wadenhoe focus is first-and-foremost on identifying and developing talent from within the organisation. However, sometimes new strategies demand new capabilities and there's a need to look outside. Also, every external recruitment provides the opportunity to bring in new talent with further potential for internal development later.
We are very pleased to announce our new association with XECUTIVE SEARCH, who have an exceptional track record in this area.
